Situated south of the River Loire, Gîtes de La Richardière are set in the peaceful, picturesque French countryside with panoramic views and idyllic surroundings. The property is over 200 years old and was once a Fermette bustling with cattle, sheep, goats, ducks & chickens. The restored farm buildings offer 3 self-catering Gîtes/Cottages, which are fully equipped to to accommodate your stay.

In each Gîte we offer
• Comfortable bedrooms with freshly prepared linens and towels
• Complete Kitchen Diners with oven, stove, dishwasher, crockery and tea & coffee making facilities.

Locality
There is a plethora of beautiful villages and towns to visit, with the nearest village just a 20 minute walk away.
The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and cycling. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the rustic French countryside, while taking in the natural beauty it has to offer. The region is famous for carp fishing, which is something that can be enjoyed in numerous locations locally. There are many breathtaking historic castles and chateaus in the region to admire and explore.
Just a 25 minute drive away is the medieval thermal town of La Roche-Posay, where you can discover the beauty of the historic town and even book into the Thermal Spa for the ultimate relaxation experience.
With zoos and vineyards also accessible by car, it is easy to make your stay as fun and exciting - or as relaxing and peaceful - as you want it to be.

Guests can benefit from a relaxing Swedish Massage. Toby is a qualified massage therapist in the treatment of Swedish Body Massage.
Indulge yourself in a rejuvenating massage during your stay. This can be done outside, under shade on a hot summer's day, or even by the pool. Or if you prefer a little more privacy, the professional massage table can be placed inside your Gite.
